CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) – Good old fashion lake effect snow continues Thursday evening.

The wind is out of the northwest and that will give the area a multi band situation off of the lake.

The snow bands will go pretty far inland.  The latest thinking is an additional 1″-4″ in the snow bands by 7 a.m. Friday.

Moisture will not be as great tomorrow but we will still have snow showers around.

Look for another trace-2″ during the day.  The lake effect will be tough to end.  More snow showers in the area Friday night.

The wind shifts west to southwest on Saturday.  Look for snow showers east of Cleveland Saturday before the snow lifts north out over the lake.
