Cleveland – has declared a Snow Emergency Parking Ban for the city of Cleveland effective at 10 p.m. on Sunday February 1, 2015. As a result, stopping, standing, and parking of vehicles will be restricted and prohibited on City streets with posted red and white signs until further notice.

The City of Akron has issued a Snow Emergency Parking Ban for ALL CITY STREETS effective at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 1, 2015. The ban is in effect until further notice. Snow parking bans are issued for the purpose of the public’s safety and the efficiency of snow clearing efforts on city streets.  A Snow Emergency Parking Ban means the City has the power to tow cars parked on city streets if they impede the progress of snow clearing operations. All cars should be removed from parking spots on city streets regardless of whether city crews are still plowing main roads or have moved to the residential side streets. Cars not moved may be towed by the City.

In Canton, a parking ban will be in effect beginning at 3 a.m. Sunday, February 1 through 3 a.m. Monday, February 2. Those with driveways, garages, and/or other means of off-street parking are being asked to not park on the street. Where possible, those without off-street parking options are being asked to only park on the side of the street with even numbered addresses.
