CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –Strongsville native and veteran television reporter Lisa Colagrossi died after suffering from a brain hemorrhage just after covering a story for WABC-TV New York. The station says she was stricken after reporting from a live shot at a fire scene. The 49-year-old was taken to a hospital where she died Friday.

Colagrossi had been at WABC-TV since 2001. Previously, she was an anchor at WKYC-TV Cleveland and WKMG-TV Orlando. She graduated from Strongsville High School.
