INDEPENDENCE, Ohio — Federal marshals officially took over Jimmy Dimora’s house Monday morning.
Over the weekend, neighbors told WKYC the Dimora family had moved out.
Moving trucks were here a month or two ago and the family came by Saturday to pack up the rest of their things.
The former Cuyahoga County Commissioner was convicted in 2012 of 30 federal counts related to accepting bribes in exchange for hiring people and arranging county contracts.
The 59-year-old former Democratic Party leader made an agreement with prosecutors for his wife to move out of the home six months after the appeals process ended.
