DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –Cleveland City Councilvoted Monday night to raise parking fees at all city-owned meters, lots and garages.
The legislation passed 16-1, with only Councilman Zack Reedvoting against the ordinance.
Rates at meters downtown will increase to $0.75 or $1, depending on location. Hourly and daily rates at city-owned lots and garages will increase $1. Special event rates will increase from $20 to $25, up to $30.
