YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio- A recent list of the happiest and most miserable cities features five Ohio areas. But not in a positive way.

The MSN.com rankings are based on the 2014 Gallup-Healthways Well Being Index, which considers the following categories: purpose, social, financial, community and physical. Financial security is a key factor with six of the 10 most miserable cities having a poverty rate higher than the national average of 15.8 percent.

Cleveland was not on either list.

Ohio cities listed in the Top Ten:

  • Youngstown, Warren and Boardman, Ohio
  • Toledo, Ohio
  • Dayton, Ohio
  • Columbus, Ohio
  • Cincinnati, Ohio
