CLEVELAND, Ohio — A water quality advisory has been posted at Edgewater Beach.
According to a release from the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, it’s the result of a combined sewer overflow event, which discharged raw sewage into Lake Erie during Monday night’s heavy rain.
Visitors, especially children, the elderly and those in ill health, are advised to avoid contact with water and debris.
