CLEVELAND – A water main break on East 71st Street in Cleveland caused the road to buckle Friday morning, trapping an RTA bus that was servicing the street.
The bus became stuck in a hole at East 71st Street and Chambers Avenue around 5 a.m.
The break also sent gallons of water into the street.
“When I got up this morning and I turned on the water and it was trickling I said ‘oh no’ and I came out,” said resident Tillie Tekien. “It was around 4 a.m. and the water was pouring down.”
