CLEVELAND – The release of two reports from independent investigators on the Tamir Rice case sparked strong community reaction and a small protest at the scene of the shooting Sunday.
“He sugar-coated it,” said Brenda Bickerstaff, referring to Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Timothy McGinty. “What they’re doing is the blanket, the blanket that they use. I’m in fear of my life, and this is how these officers and cops get off every time.”
