LORAIN, Ohio – Lorain Police shared a photo of a candy bar with what looks like a needle on Facebook Sunday.

The candy was handed out Saturday during trick-or-treat in the city, police said.

Parents should check their children’s candy before letting them eat it, police added, and anyone with information about the tainted candy should call them at 440-204-2100.

The candy was handed out between Oberlin Avenue, Leavitt Road, W. Erie Avenue and W. 14th Street.
