YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio– Students at Youngstown State University came together to cover up a disturbing message found on the campus Monday morning.
Pro-ISIS sayings like “France deserves destruction” and “We are coming” were painted on a rock at YSU. The university said the FBI was notified as a precaution, but there is no credible threat to the school.
Monday afternoon, students responded by painting over the threatening graffiti with new messages, including “God bless America” and “World peace.” The group of about 40 also held a brief ceremony.
