CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

Cleveland police are currently investigating an officer-involved shooting involving a Cleveland Heights police officer and a Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority police officer.

The preliminary investigation revealed the Cleveland Heights Police Department was seeking a man wanted for aggravated robbery. The suspect was in the area of Kinsman Road and Grand Avenue just after 1 p.m. Monday when shots were fired.

The suspect fled the area and was possibly shot. The suspect is described as a black man between 20 and 25 years old he is approximately 6’2″ tall, heavyset. He has short black hair and some facial hair. The suspect was wearing a red long sleeved shirt. He was last seen driving a black 2003 Buick with Ohio license plate FLR8179.

Police are investigating three carjacking incidents connected to the case. Grand Avenue from Kinsman to E. 55th has been blocked off.

The Gulf gas station at East 55th and Euclid has been taped off after a black Chevy Malibu was found with three bullet holes.
