Unfortunately this one is true.
It turns out that the entire cast of Straight Outta Compton is not invited to the Academy Awards.
Amid all of the drama surrounding the Oscars this year after ZERO Black actors were nominated in any category, the cast of the hit film was not asked to come. What makes it even worse is that while none of the actors were given a nod, the movie is still up for the Best Original Screenplay award. So why can’t the cast come?
Even Ice Cube, who was a vital part of the film as the executive producer, was not invited.
But they were all given invites to the Screen Actors Guilt Awards and the NAACP Image Awards, which the cast and Ice Cube do plan to attend.
I wonder what Stacey Dash has to say about that.
