Vanity Fair is back at it again with celebrities giving dramatic readings. Most recently it managed to get Academy Award-winning celebrities giving dramatic readings of Kanye West tweets—which, granted, are already dramatic sometimes. After getting Don Draper Jon Hamm and John Legend to read Justin Bieber’s super catchy “Sorry” Vanity Fair has called upon the god himself, Morgan Freeman, for a dramatic reading of Bieber’s “Love Yourself.”
Freeman takes the Biebs’ latest hit to an ecclesiastical level by reading it in that comforting voice we’ve all come to know and love. In an appearance with Jimmy Kimmel last night Freeman first played coy when Kimmel asked him how he achieved his epic voice, but then said he learned it. “I went to school to study how to be an actor,” said Freeman. “In that school, Los Angeles City College, I had a voice and diction instructor who was very good at his job.”
