Zendaya is a blank canvas and open to many fashion creations, making her editorial gold. The fashionista gives us a strong, confident pose for the April 2016 issue of W Magazine and we’re seriously swooning. Styled by Paul Cavaco, who has worked with some of the greats including Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford, the editorial is seriously everything.
Zendaya wore a sequin, striped gown from the Spring/Summer 2016 Givenchy Haute Couture collection. Giving the dress a more relaxed vibe, Paul chose to leave the dress unbuttoned, giving it the appearance of a plunge versus a diamond cut-out. He placed a white t-shirt underneath, added a vampy lip and black nails.
In the photo, Zendaya is looking down at the camera, almost as if she is saying, “I dare you to tell me I don’t look good.”
The red carpet darling is definitely expanding her brand with her latest fashion venture, shoe line Daya, in partnership with her stylist Law Roach. We’d say it’s pretty clear that Zendaya is setting the foundation for a fashion empire. Do we have a young Jessica Simpson, who built a BILLION dollar fashion empire, on our hands?
