Malik Isaac Taylor aka Phife Dawg aka Phifer founding member of A Tribe Called Quest transitioned life March 23, 2016 at the age of 45.
Although the cause of death is unknown right now, it has been documented that Phife battled health issues for many years stemming from Type 1 diabetes. His beloved wife was also his kidney donor.
