CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga County employees will no longer be embarking on any non-essential official travel to North Carolina.

County executive Armond Budish announced the decision as an executive order out Wednesday morning.

The move comes in response to an act passed last month in North Carolina, which prohibits cities in the Tar Heel state from passing anti-discrimination laws protecting LGBTQ communities.
