CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
The City of Cleveland has released the names and positions of nine employees within the Department of Public Utilities/Division of Water who were terminated for violations stated within the City of Cleveland’s Civil Service Rules, Ethics Policy and Progressive Discipline Policy.
In each case, the city found the employee to be stealing water from the Division of Water. The nine employees range from husband and wife, relatives of each other, or unrelated.
The positions of workers terminated are listed as:
- Water Pipe Repairman
- Meter Reader
- Meter Reader
- Sr. Personnel Assistant
- Stock Clerk
- Radio Dispatcher
- Customer Service Representative
- Principal Clerk
- Water Pipe Repair Unit Leader
