The drama just won’t stop. Tamar Braxton‘s firing from The Real has become more juicy than a daytime soap opera.

While all of her co-stars have come forward on social media to make it clear that they were just as blindsided as she was about the ruthless move, somebody very, very close to the singer allegedly knew about it weeks ago: Her husband, Vincent Herbert, who is also a producer on the daytime talk show.

“Her husband has been aware for two weeks that she wasn’t getting picked up,” a source tells the New York Post’s Page Six, adding that her antics on set and on social media motivated the decision to give her the axe. What’s more, producers aren’t above resorting to blackmail to get her and her crew to calm down with the Twitter fingers.

“Telepictures is really frustrated with how she’s handling things,” the source tells the Post. “If she continues to smear her co-hosts and the show, they’re going to release the video and audio of her blowing up on set.”

If it’s true that Herbert had an idea that his wife was about to get the pink slip, that’s all kinds of messed up. Surely there’s already an awkward conversation happening in the Herbert household about it.

It’s not clear if Vince will continue to be involved with the show, either, or if his contract was somehow tied to Braxton’s. Sound off in comments.
