SANDUSKY, Ohio– Cedar Point will reopen on Tuesday after a storm knocked down power lines along the park’s causeway.

Cedar Point announced on Monday there is no damage to the park itself.

“Ohio Edison’s repairs to the power lines on the Cedar Point Causeway are ongoing. Because of their hard work and diligence, Cedar Point will reopen on Tuesday, June 7. There is no damage to the park itself.”

A powerful line of storms uprooted trees and downed power lines in Sandusky. The Cedar Point Causeway was closed Sunday afternoon and the entire park was closed on Monday.
