CLEVELAND, Ohio– Wednesday will be the biggest party Cleveland has likely ever seen, and now Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson has declared it a local holiday.

It’s all because of our Cavaliers, who brought home an NBA Championship, Sunday night.

A huge parade and rally will be held Wednesday beginning at 11 a.m. in downtown Cleveland to honor the team. **CLICK HERE for complete details**

Fox 8 News will be live on the air from 4 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. for 15.5 straight hours of coverage that will include the parade, the rally and our Fox 8 newscasts.

The event will also be streamed LIVE on Fox8.com and on the Fox 8 Facebook Page.

The City of Cleveland says city offices will stay open as usual.  Cleveland Municipal Court is making a change.

“Given the historic nature of the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Championship victory, it is only right and proper that the Cleveland Municipal Court facilitate an opportunity for our employees and those who use the Cleveland Municipal Court’s facilities to join with the rest of Northeast Ohio and the Cavaliers’ nation for the celebratory parade scheduled to take place tomorrow, June 22, 2016,” said Judge Ronald B. Adrine, Presiding Judge of the Court’s General Division.
