CLEVELAND – Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson and other city officials have announced a new tip line for the public.

The public will be able to call the tip line, 1-800-225-5324, to share information about suspicious activity.

Cleveland police say that the public’s help with bring attention to things officers may not be immediately aware of and that help can lead to resolving issues more quickly.

Both Mayor Jackson and Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams began speaking about the tragedy in Dallas where 5 police officers were killed, and they said Cleveland has taken steps to protect their officers and the public even more.

“If you see something, say something,” said Chief Williams.
