TSA Introduces Pre-Screening Pilot Program For Some Passenger Groups

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

Transportation Security Administration officials are preparing for a large number of travelers to leave the Cleveland on Thursday.

A projected 18,000 passengers are expected to depart from Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport, 30 percent more than an average day there.

Thursday marks the final day of the Republican National Convention.

TSA is opening the security screening lines at 3 a.m. Friday, instead of the normal 4 a.m.
