HERSHEY, Pa. — A not-so-sweet ride for some visitors to the sweetest place on earth.
Officials say 27 riders got stuck on the Sidewinder roller coaster at Hersheypark in Pennsylvania on Monday afternoon.
All of the riders were able to safely exit the ride after it was stuck around 4 p.m.
Officials say the evacuation process took approximately 35 minutes.
It’s unclear what caused the ride to malfunction.
