Chicago White Sox v Cleveland Indians

Clevelanders took to social media for more than just celebrating after the Indians’ big win Monday.

Many took issue with a graphic shown by TBS, the cable channel that aired the game against the Boston Red Sox. The graphic shows some of their analysts in front of a river on fire. It was shown during post-game coverage.

The fire pokes fun at the fire that broke out on the Cuyahoga River back in 1969.

It says “Welcome to Cleveland.”

Many of those on social media called for an apology from TBS, which will also air the ALCS Game 1.

“Cleveland is a great city, and we regret the use of the image. We look forward to putting the focus back on an exciting ALCS,” a TBS spokesperson told FOX 8 News.
