CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

Recently, for the first time in the organization’s history, some of the members of the Cleveland Police Patrolmen’s Association took a vote on whom to back in the presidential election.

As a result, the CPPA endorsed controversial GOP candidate Donald Trump.

That vote and the results are not sitting well with members of The Cleveland Black Shield Police Association.

The Black Shield will hold a news conference Thursday along with other community groups to address what it calls sexually abusive comments by Presidential candidate Donald Trump.

The organization says it shares the country’s disgust with the scurrilous, sexist and criminally suggestive comments of Trump. It further says the statements made by republican presidential candidate are consistent with the oft repeated and disrespectful and/or racist comments he’s made about African Americans, immigrants of color and now women.

Black Shield says what was once the comments of a spoiled brat now his recent statements about grabbing the genitalia of women shows that he would have no problem committing criminal acts, including sexually violating and even raping women that he has power over.
