CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
You’ll have to look pretty hard to see the shots of Cleveland in the new trailer for the “The Fate and the Furious,” the title studio execs cooked up for the eighth film in “The Fast and the Furious” franchise.
City residents may remember streets being closed over the summer for filming, which took place from mid-May to early June. Although none of the film’s main stars made an appearance, the shooting did include some pretty memorable stunts.
However, the garage stunt (surprisingly) didn’t make it into the first trailer, which was released Sunday (although it’s unlikely it will be left out of the final product). Still, there are a few quality shots of Cleveland (which, once again, will be doubling for another city in its on-screen appearance– in this case, NYC) in the trailer. Can you spot them?
