Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke proved that he is, in fact, the real-life embodiment of Stephen from Django when he took to Twitter on Tuesday to attack CNN’s Marc Lamont Hill after Hill said “mediocre Negroes” are being used as “photo ops” for Donald Trump.
Hill appeared on Monday’s edition of CNN Tonight with Don Lemon. Lemon asked Hill to give his thoughts on Steve Harvey’s visit with President-elect Donald Trump. Hill said that while he had a lot of respect for Harvey, he didn’t like the way he saw Harvey and others being used by Trump.
“Yeah, it’s a bunch of mediocre Negroes being dragged in front of TV as a photo op for Donald Trump’s exploitive campaign against black people,” Hill said, drawing the on-air ire of Bruce LeVell, executive director of the National Diversity Coalition for Trump, and the Twitter fingers of Clarke, who began name-calling and hurling insults at Hill on Tuesday morning.
“I am tired of this jigaboo telling black people who they should be, what they should do,” Clarke wrote. “He’s a lackey for Democrats.”
Not one to back down from an argument, Hill fired back on Twitter.
“I know YOU ain’t talking about me, dog,” Hill said. “YOU?!? Also, jigaboo?!?!? mwahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahah”
