CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Indiana Pacers 109-108 in game one of the NBA Playoffs.
Does anybody feel like the Cavaliers flipped the switch? Of course not! Maybe they ratcheted things up late in the fourth quarter, Kyrie Irving had two steals and they did what they had to on the last possession, otherwise Indiana didn’t have any problems scoring.
The Pacers shot just under 50 percent from the floor (49.4) , and spent most of the game over 50. Paul George hit 6-8 from three-point territory, en route to a 29 point game. I understand good players are going to get theirs, but shooting 75 percent from downtown? That’s getting his and then some. That’s getting his and taking some of theirs.
