The worrying if Steve Stephens is going to strike again is over.

But it’s a relief that, for Robert Godwin Sr.’s family, is tempered with the still gut-wrenching reality that he’s gone forever.

Sitting with his sister, Ruby Godwin-Fisher, you would have seen it in her eyes and heard it in her voice when she gives her take on 3 days of living a nightmare.

“I really don’t know what I’m going to do without him. I feel so lost,” said Godwin-Fisher.

74-year-old Robert Godwin was Ruby’s big brother, best friend, and travel partner before Steve Stephens killed him.
