You might have thought the $15 dollar minimum wage in Cleveland was dead.
Maybe not.
An Ohio judge has just tossed out a law passed last year, that kept cities from hiking minimum wage above the state limit.
The controversial Senate Bill 331 started as something completely unrelated, dealing with pet stores.
But the legislation ended up being the “Christmas Tree Bill,” with lots of extra, non-related items in it. One of those provisions was the minimum wage limit.
