SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) –

After 2 years, the FBI’s Cleveland office along with Middleburg Heights police have a major break in Tierra Bryant’s disappearance. On Tuesday, authorities announced that an arrest had been made in California in the 2015 case.

Sacramento police, its FBI’s Evidence Response Team along with agents from the Violent Crime Task Force picked up Rashad Hunt, 39, on a murder warrant.

They have worked with Middleburg Heights Police since the disappearance. Hunt is described as having a violent past.

Authorities believe Bryant was murdered even though her body has never been found.

Bryant, 20-years-old at the time, has not been seen or heard from since March 30, 2015.

Police said the Shaker Heights grad was last seen near the Motel 6 on Engle Road in Middleburg Heights. She was reported to have been with an older man.
