COLUMBUS, OH (WOIO) –
Rides in the children’s area are among those that reopened Friday at the Ohio State Fair.
According to the Agriculture Department the fair’s Kiddieland and other similar rides were cleared to resume operations.
Wednesday, the fair’s opening day, a ride called the Fire Ball malfunctioned, killing 18-year-old Tyler Jarrell and injured seven other people. Gov. John Kasich immediately shut down all the rides and ordered them to be re-inspected.
