Pitbull, real name Armando Christian Perez, sent his private jet to the hurricane-battered island of Puerto Rico so that he could fly cancer patients to the mainland of the United States for their chemo treatments.
Puerto Rico congresswoman Jenniffer Gonzalez recognized the move with a message on Twitter, writing, “Thank you @pitbull for lending your private plane to move cancer patients from PR to USA so that they can get chemo.”

In response, Pitbull said, “Thanks God we’re blessed to help. Just doing my part,” in speaking to the New York Daily News on Tuesday.
