A breach of Malley’s Chocolates’ website nearly two months ago exposed the credit card information of thousands of customers, the Cleveland-based company’s co-owner Mike Malley confirmed Thursday.

The incident occurred on March 18, just two weeks before Easter, and caused Malley’s to take the site offline for four days. Officials say the breach was isolated to just their website and did not affect retail operations.

The company claims all customers who may have had their information exposed have been notified, and a 24/7 call center has been set up to address their concerns.
