Tremont, OH (WOIO) –

The Welcome to Tremont mural on the side of Tremont Convenience Mart has been unveiled today.

The project was sponsored by Tremont Convenience Mart and made possible by Graffiti HeArt, a local Cleveland and Tremont based non-profit that aims to provide art scholarships for undeserved youth to The Cleveland Institute of Art.

Graffiti HeArt also promotes graffiti artists and their art form through commissioned projects in public, private and corporate spaces.

Vic Savage and Alan Giberson designed and painted the mural, which features images of the leg lamp from the A Christmas Story House and MuseumLolly the Trolley, and other Tremont attractions from around the neighborhood.
