MENTOR, OH (WOIO) –
Police said an elderly woman crashed into two pedestrians outside the Walmart store, killing one of them.
The accident happened around 12:30 p.m. Monday at the store on Mentor Avenue.
Police said the victim, whose name is not being released, went into full cardiac arrest at the scene and died at Tripoint Medical Center.
According to officers, the second pedestrian is a Walmart employee who uses a wheelchair.
That victim is being treated at Lake West with minor injuries.
