CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner is investigating the cause of death for Socrates S. Kokkalis.
According to police, the 34-year-old man was found dead on the 24th floor, inside the Marriott Hotel at 1360 West Mall Drive, on July 14.
Socrates is the son of Greek billionaire businessman, Petro Kokkalis; a communist politician currently living in exile.
A statement provided to CNN Greece by the Kokkalis Foundation translates to:
“The Kokkalis family, with deep sorrow, announces the sudden death of Socrates S. Kokkalis, 34, during a business trip to Cleveland, USA, Saturday July 14, 2018”.
