Amber alert sign on freeway of a child abduction

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

***Update: 5:49 p.m. 7/21/18***

The Cleveland Police Department said the four children have been located safely and they were provided with the necessary medical attention.

Police said officers found the mom and children around the 1300 block of Superior Avenue.

Investigators said the kids will be turned over to Cuyahoga County Children and Family services.

Authorities said the mother will be arrested and charged with abduction/endangering children.

Additional arrests are possible as the investigation is ongoing, according to police.

Cleveland Police have issued an Amber Alert for four kids that have been taken by their mother, 23-year-old Brianna Harris.

The alert has been issued statewide.

Police say Harris and her four children were last seen on East 193rd Street in Euclid in a blue Toyota Corolla.

Investigators said Harris was leaving from the area of the 440 block of East 146th Street.

Authorities said the car was located, the family was not with the car.

The children reportedly taken are 2-year-old Savannah Harris, who has critical medical needs, 2-year-old Zayanna Harris, 4-year-old Kylee Harris and 7-year-old Jayveon Harris.
