CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
Aretha Franklin, the first woman ever to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, passed away Thursday morning.
The “Queen of Soul” was inducted into the Rock Hall in 1987.
Franklin’s publicist says Franklin died after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Celebrities paid tribute to the entertainment icon on social media.
