A list of certified singers have been asked to give Aretha Franklin a rousing tribute.

According to CNN who spoke to a source close to the planning committee, performers include Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Jennifer Holliday and Yolanda AdamsFaith Hill, Ronald Isley, Chaka Khan, Shirley Caesar and The Clark Sisters.

Franklin’s funeral will take place on August 31 at 10 a.m. ET in her hometown of Detroit at Greater Grace Temple in Detroit. Franklin’s body is laid in interim on August 28 and 29 at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit.

The “Queen of Soul,” 76, died last week of pancreatic cancer, leaving her fans and celebrities in deep mourning over the giant loss.

Since Franklin’s death, people have speculated over who would be given the weighty task to tribute Franklin as she descends to her final resting place.

One of the names mentioned, 90’s R&B singer Tevin Campbell even garnered a Twitter moment.

Social media was in approval of the selection, as the performers selected show a variety of range, talent and musical ability.

Franklin’s voice influenced many of her peers and sparked a generation of soul singing that pulled from soul music, gospel and country music. All elements of musical that contributed to depth and breadth of Franklin’s vocal prowess.

According to CNN, music mogul Clive Davis is planning a special tribute concert to Franklin in November.
