After things with recent beau Will Jones fell apart, Cynthia Bailey appeared on the Steve Harvey Show to get Harvey’s help to find the right kind of guy. After quizzing three eligible bachelors within her age range (Bailey is 51), she ended up choosing Mike Hill, a sportscaster for Fox Sports 1. Things have worked out very well for the couple so far, as they’ve even combined their names in pictures on social media under the tag #CHill. That success, so far at least, has Steve Harvey somewhere patting himself on the back.
Seriously, though.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight to promote the new season of his popular talk show, the host said there would be more matchmaking because, using Bailey as an example, he’d like to think he’s pretty darn good at it. He said that she originally was thinking of picking someone else when she appeared for the segment, but he encouraged her to give Hill a chance, and so far, so good.
“Cynthia Bailey was going to pick somebody else,” he said about her matchmaking segment. “I told her, ‘You’re not picking that guy. You’re going to pick this guy.’”
“‘Well Steve, he lives in Atlanta, he’s an attorney’ — I don’t care nothing about that,” he added. “I talked her into it, they started dating. So now it’s pretty serious. They’re exclusive and so she’s found somebody that she’s crazy about.”
And she is indeed crazy about her man, Mike Hill.
She recently told Bravo that she’s in love and that “I think he’s the one.” We will likely see how this relationship plays out in the upcoming 11th season of Real Housewives of Atlanta. Stay tuned…
