Q-Tip the abstract most known as a member of the revolutionary rap group, A Tribe Called Quest, could be still dedicating his life to his craft, but right now it is more important for him to dedicate his life to whom his life was given.

Kamaal Ibn John Fareed, better known by his stage name Q-Tip, took to his Instagram this week to share the news that his mother is suffering from Alzheimers and Dementia. In his video announcement he wanted people to know that he would be dedicating his show Abstract Radio, on December the 9th, to his mom for her birthday by playing her favorite songs, he also took the time to praise others that are caregivers to their parents suffering from this diminishing disease as he knows and appreciates their struggle all to well because he to is waking up everyday to his mom as her caregiver.

I’m sure Q-Tip could hire someone to take care of his mom 24 hours a day while he connoted to work in the music industry but it says a lot about his character to be the one to do it himself. God Bless you Q-Tip we will be keep you and your family lifted in our prayers.
