Love Is__ “Gone” at least as it pertains to Nuri and Yasir.
Exclusive news was reported via a reliable source on B.Scott that the hit show “Love Is__” was being cancelled due to a lawsuit filed against the show and co-creator Salim Akil by his alleged mistress.
Love Is__ is a show that was based on the creators Mara Brock Akil and Salim Akil’s life story and how they fell in love. But according to the alleged mistress she said that the show was based on a script that she wrote plus she is alleging domestic violence against her by the hands of Salim Akil. Although the alleged mistress has let OWN network off the hook she still is coming for Akil. Allegations that lawyers for Salim Akil say are totally false.
But if there was any doubt about the cancellation Mara Brock Akil pretty much confirmed it as she expressed her sadness of not being able to work with a great group of artists and storytellers on this project this way in a post on her Instagram.
So if you have been dying to know what happened after Yasir stormed off the set because Nuri still had that ring, you might want to call 911 because you ain’t gonna make it. However after all if the show is based on the Akil’s real life and if there is any truth to what’s going on now in real time…maybe keeping that other dudes ring was a sign. I’m just sayin!!
