Chris Brown has seemingly denied allegations that he raped a woman in a Paris hotel last week.

The controversial singer was detained by French authorities on Tuesday after he was accused of committing sexual assault at the Mandarin Oriental hotel. Hours after he was taken into custody, Brown shared an Instagram post denyng the accuser’s claims. The image featured the phrase, “This B!tch Lyin” and was captioned, “I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR…… THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP! NNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!!”

The 29-year-old called the allegations “so disrespectful” to his family and was in conflict to his “character and morals.” Sources told TMZ that Brown and his team are no longer in police custody; but it’s unclear if any of them have been formally charged with rape or drug violations.

Brown’s accuser detailed the alleged assault in an interview with French magazine Closer. The woman—identified as Karima—said the rape occured in the singer’s hotel room, where she was also abused by members of Brown’s entourage. She said she wants Brown and company “to stop doing this to girls who have not asked for anything.” She also told the publication, “I just thought I was having a good night with a star. I did not imagine that I was going to find myself locked up with aggressive and menacing men who forced me to do things I did not want.”
