Colin Kaepernick started a movement when he took a knee during the National Anthem when he was playing quarterback for the San Fransisco 49ers, then was ultimately black balled from the NFL for 2 years now. A Movement that has affected business owners for showing their support with his NIKE movement to entertainers that said they would not perform during the halftime show of the Super Bowl held in Atlanta this year.

Fast forwarding about 2 weeks after the Super Bowl, Kaepernick and the NFL have reached a settlement. Sounds great, right? Well people are upset because the man that has become a martyr for a movement of freedom and police brutality publicly has now made a settlement that is private.

Is he still black balled? Does it mean we still stand with Kap? Has a ‘real’ victory been made? Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything? Did he…Just Do it?

Take a look at the video below as Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe break down the problem with “THE” people and the Kaepernick situation.
