In a recent episode of TV One’s UNSUNG featuring Adina Howard, she told the story of her rise to fame by embracing something that at the time was only acceptable to be presented by men, sex. But her abrasive vocal sexiness garnered her the attention of singer Wanya Morris from Boyz II Men. The problem with that catch was at the time he was dating another rising star, singer/actress Brandy.
