In recent history the one thing that has been consistent with the caught on tape police brutality cases is that there was more than one officer there.  In the case of George Floyd witnesses begged for the officers to help but the only thing we could see was them helping keep the bystanders away.  If in all of these cases that resulted in a person of color life being taken one other person that was wearing blue would have interceded those lives could have been saved.

So if the good seeds don’t agree with the bad seeds, why aren’t they telling?

In the case of Officer Cariol Horne she interceded and they systemically took her lively hood and the pension she had accrued.

In 2006, Cariol Horne was fired and lost her pension after interfering when another officer had a suspect in a choke hold.  Today Cariol Horne is seeking change  with #CariolHorneLaw

“I don’t want any officer to go through what I have gone through,” Horne continued. “I had five children and I lost everything but [the suspect] did not lose his life. So, if I have nothing else to live for in life, at least I can know that I did the right thing and that [he] still breathes.”
