John Amos Daughter Claims She Heard Of His Passing From Social Media

DAMN, DAMN, DAMN !!! Sad news is being reported as actor John Amos best known for his role as James Evans on ‘Good Times’ has passed away at the age of 84. This time it’s not a poor taste social media rumor as his passing was shared by his son Kelly Christopher. Unfortunately according to his daughter she found out that her famous dad’s passing via social media.

John Amos actually passed on August 21, 2024 in Los Angeles of “natural causes, and is survived by his daughter, Shannon, and son Kelly Christopher Amos. Shortly after the news broke on October 1st, Shannon took to her social media to post a touch video of her dancing with her father, John Amos, along with the message that no one had even told her, she found out when the rest of us did.

“Iam without words…Our family has received the heartbreaking news that my Dad, John Allen Amos, Jr., transitioned on August 21st.” …“We are devastated and left with many questions about how this happened 45 days ago, learning about it through the media like so many of you.”

A little over a year ago Shannon Amos made an accusation of that John Amos had fallen victim to elder abuse and financial exploitation, an accusation that John Amos allegedly denied.
