Federal Judge Has Blocked Trump’s Freeze Of Federal Grants & Loans

A lot of Americans are sick to their stomach as President Donald Trumps pen is slicing like a sword. Breaking news was Donald Trump’s administration is freezing a massive swath of government funding until agencies review their programs for compliance with the president’s recently signed executive orders. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, during her first press briefing on Tuesday, faced a barrage of questions on the administration’s freeze on federal financial assistance programs. The White House responded with some better clarity.
“Social Security benefits, Medicare benefits, food stamps, welfare benefits, assistance that is going directly to individuals will not be impacted by this pause,”
It’s now being reported that a Federal Judge on Tuesday afternoon temporarily blocked part of the Trump administration’s plans to freeze all federal aid, a policy that unleashed confusion and worry from charities and educators even as the White House said it was not as sweeping an order as it appeared.
